Case Study 1: Modern Oak Renewal

The Problem: A family kitchen table with heavy surface fatigue, greying grain, burn marks and multiple water rings.

The Work: Complete strip-back to raw timber followed by a precision repolish in a clear, matte-satin finish.

The Result: The natural warmth of the oak is restored, protected by a heat-resistant, durable coating.

Case Study 2: Faded Sideboard

The Problem: A large sideboard with severe sun bleaching and a completely failed finish – the natural colour and grain had faded to a pale, washed-out shadow of the original.

The Work: Full strip back to bare wood, colour restoration to bring back the rich warm tones of the rosewood, and a high-gloss protective lacquer applied by hand.

The Result: The deep, lustrous colour of the wood fully restored — a piece that looks as striking as the day it was made.

Case Study 3: Mid-Century Side Table

The Problem: A mid-century side table with a faded, uneven finish, a heat ring and years of surface wear that had dulled the natural character of the wood.

The Work: Full strip back to bare wood, a deep dark stain applied to enrich the grain, and a smooth hand-finished lacquer built up for lasting protection.

The Result: The grain and character of the wood brought back to life with a deep, consistent finish that enhances the piece's original mid-century design.
