We were commissioned to restore the impressive double entrance doors of a government building in the heart of London. Years of exposure to the city’s weather and pollution had left the wood faded and marked, hiding much of its original character.

Each door was carefully stripped back to the bare wood and expertly sanded to reveal the natural grain once more. A rich colour was then applied to enhance the timber’s depth, followed by multiple base coats and a UV-resistant lacquer for lasting protection.

Finished by hand to a deep sheen, the doors have been brought back to life—rich, vibrant, and ready to welcome visitors for years to come.
